Electrification of the new Rubi Line of the Porto Metro, section: Casa da Música – Santo Ovídio

The works consist of the assembly of the OCL (Overhead Contact Line) system powered at 750V DC and designed for a rolling stock speed of 100 km/h.

Key Points:

• 3 types of catenary: Rigid Type R (NATM tunnels, Box & Jacking and cut & cover tunnel) Type D tramway (exterior/viaduct) and Type E (needle points)
• Project conditioned by infrastructure works – mandatory coordination with civil works.
• 17 project sub-zones (3500→3713 + Ramal 3713), including the new Arrábida Bridge, over the Duero River.
• Length: 6,240 m per track (2 tracks)

The scope of the Syneox Rail contract includes the supply and installation of all the elements that make up the catenary, supply and installation of power wiring to the catenary (Feeders), supply and installation of earth circuits, traction return and protections for the catenary.
