Construction and assembly of track and catenary systems. Comprehensive improvement project of the railway infrastructure. Section: Santiago – Rancagua.

The works consisted of quadrupling the double track between Santiago and Rancagua, adding the electrification elements (Catenaries) for the two new general tracks and replacing the existing catenary on the current double track with others in accordance with the current state of the art. A remote control of disconnectors was added to the system to improve the operation of the line.

• Laying of Polygonal Catenaries, auto-tensioned, with double contact wire for Continuous Current.
• Assembly of brackets with aluminum alloy parts and tubes and synthetic insulators.
• Equipotential dropper instalation.
• Assembly of automatic compensation equipment, equipped with anti-vandalism and anti-theft systems.
• Mounting of disconnectors
• Design, supply and assembly of a new remote control system for disconnectors and integration into the control post.
